In this 8 hour PMC workshop, instructor Darlene Armstrong will teach students how to create two hollow beads without using an inner core. The first bead will be tube shaped and will have a textured pattern. The second, more complicated bead will be dome shaped, will have a center bezeled stone and can be decorated as the student desires using design textures. Both beads will be fired with a butane torch and polished.
This is a great introduction into creating hollow form beads using the techniques learned in this dynamic workshop! Come join the fun and learn how to design and build focal beads for your beadwork or to use as a stand-alone pendant.
"Produced a lot of different types of beads and learned many new techniques. Loved all of Darlene's extra tricks!" Sheris B.
"My favorite part of the class was making the domed bead. I like the step by step instruction for fabrication of all of the pieces, and I also like the gentle yet constructive criticism provided to improve my final piece." Susan C.
"Great! She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. When I go home I can practice what I learned, which is not always true with other teachers." Doreen R.
