Metalsmithing I
Instructor: Darlene Armstrong
This metalsmithing class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of jewelry design and execution. Studio habits, safety and design elements will also be covered.
Students will learn how to saw, pierce, hammer, file, sand, buff, solder, sweat solder, patina, set stones, make templates, stamping, and more.
Two projects will be offered and students should finish 2 projects during class, a pendant and a pair of earrings. Upon completion of this class Students will be awarded a certificate of completion of 30 hours class time.
