Mary Ann Conner was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in a family that enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts at home. Besides her day job as a tax accountant, she worked and taught at a local yarn shop. While looking for a retail space to open her own shop, she was introduced to the world of stained glass. Since that day, she has explored all the glass arts. “It seems that I always come back to glass,” she states. “Glass has endless applications. But what it all boils down to is my love of the play of light through the colors of stained glass.” Mosaic is one of her favorite applications because it can be fast, fun, and an inexpensive way to create with glass.
