Jen Lesea-Ames has been working as a jewelry artist since 2009. A fitness professional and triathlon coach by trade, Jen started jewelry making to relieve stress, and started taking metalsmithing classes at the Denver School of Jewelry Arts.
In 2013, she was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and faced two major hip preservation surgeries, so she retired and went full-time with her jewelry business. Each year her business has seen an average of 30% growth per year by primarily doing average of 35 art shows a year and selling her jewelry online through Etsy and her own branded website, JenLeseaDesigns.com.
Her business fully supports her and her husband (and their fur-baby, Adaline). In her free time, she enjoys playing in the mountains and seeking out the best tacos and margaritas where she travels for art shows.
