Bend and shape your thinking of quilling metal with this introductory class into the ancient form of filigree. We will play with many shapes and sizes of wire including: twisting and flattening wire that resembles the traditional filigree wire, experimenting with flat bezel wire, and fusing round wire onto sheet.
You will have the opportunity to finish a pendant that will be inspired by the French ironworks and paper quilling. Twist and curl the metal to your will during this two-day introductory workshop into quilling metal into delicate shapes and patterns that will resemble the delicate filigree technique.
