100 18 gauge 3.5 mm inner diameter copper jump rings (these are for learning the patterns)
250-300 18 gauge 4.25 mm inner diameter jump rings for 1st pattern (*metals & colors are your choice)
300-400 18 gauge 3.5 mm inner diameter jump rings for 2nd pattern (*metals & colors are your choice)
2 clasps of your choice
2 pair of flat nose pliers
1 pair of chain nose pliers (optional, highly recommended)
1 pair of bent chain nose pliers (optional, highly recommended)
an Optivisor or reading glasses (if needed to see up close)
2 large paper clips and a couple of wire bread ties for place holders
1 shallow plastic container (such as plastic picnic plate, or tv dinner plastic tray)
Bead Mat (from Walmart or craft store)
I will have paper clips, binder clips, masking tape, extra pliers and a few other items available.
*If you are not proficient with weaving jump rings, I recommend learning with copper or aluminum rings, then moving on to a higher quality metal for future projects. The Ring Lord is a wonderful source for chainmailling tools, rings, patterns, and inspiration.
